Thermal Analysis

A branch of material science that deals with study of the properties of different kinds of materials and the way they change along with the temperature is called thermal analysis. In traditional thermal analysis techniques several methods have been used and each method is differentiated from the other by means of the property with which it is measured. Some of the methods used are Differential Thermal analysis, Dilatometry, Evolved gas analysis, Differential scanning calorimetry, Thermo-optical analysis and so on. There are times where different properties are measured during the same time.In Thermal Analysis Some methods measures sound perfunctory relaxation in a specimen or electrical discharge from any material, particularly the dielectric material and so on. All these techniques are implemented get the response from a sample as the function of time and sometimes the temperature too. When performing these techniques it is a must to change control the temperature of the samples and the environment.
